We are happy to be partnering with each of these institutions in our Budding Biotech Programming. This is an amazing opportunity for us to showcase the accomplishments of the biotechnology and health care industries in Owensboro, KY.
Owensboro Medical Health System (OMHS) is ranked among the top 5% of hospitals in the country. We owe OMHS a great amount of gratitude for fully funding this initiative as just a small part of the good accomplished through their Community Benefit Program. Kentucky Bioprocessing (KBP) operates a one of a kind biotech production facility. Their work on plant-based pharmaceuticals serves as the foundation for much of the research-based side our program. Owensboro Cancer Research Program (OCRP) conducts world class scientific research. Their collaboration with KBP to produce cancer treatments is an important part of our curriculum. Owensboro Community & Technical College (OCTC) developed the first biotechnology center in the Kentucky Community and Technical College System. They provided educational and facility support for our program. |     |
