The Budding Biotech Program is an educational and recruitment program, dedicated to increasing science literacy and interest in biotechnology and health care professions. The program is a product of the Western Kentucky Botanical Garden and the Owensboro Museum of Science and History.
We believe it is our responsibility as a community to foster an understanding of the growing biotech discipline and alert our citizens to biotech and health care educational and employment opportunities in the region. In doing so we create tomorrow’s scientists, doctors and health innovators, improving the health of our community and the global community through education.
